Since the first knitted socks in 1965 high quality has been a fundamental value for Rositsa factory in Sevlievo, Bulgaria. We select yarns with noble composition – cotton, linen, viscose, merino wool, cashmere, carefully and meticulously knitted. Our partners are Italian producers of yarns with respectful traditions and attention to each spinned thread. They employ sustainable practices, with care for nature – an invaluable part of our philosophy too. Nature is our inspiration, its colors blend naturally into our knitwear, season after season. Sustainability and no waste practices are knitted in every collection and the steps of its creation. Therefore, the pieces you choose come to you wrapped with materials utilized at their best. We find meaning the packaging not only to be pleasing to the eyes, but to be nature-friendly too, its life to be prolonged. Sustainability and care as philosophy
AMAYA ROS is part of Rositsa AD, producer of knitwear with 65-year long traditions. Caring for our employees, their labor safety and social security (certificate ICS), is our fundamental value. We are respectful and caring for the environment, employing sustainable labor and energy standards (CSR, 30% of the utilized energy is from our own solar system). Our supplier partners also involve sustainable practices in their production, allowing the resources circle to wholesomely close.

I have adored knitwear since I was a little girl. My memories - the shelves with colorful yarns, the catwalks of the new collections, the many knitted sample pieces in the fashion atelier of Rositsa factory - often come to life. I remember having spent hours there, around my mother, dreaming of becoming a designer. Love and curiosity for well-made knitwear have fascinated me throughout the years, and quite naturally AMAYA ROS was born in 2017.
